(说来有趣！不知道五哥两个儿子的Christian Names。后来收到他的来信时，还以为是小弟的二儿子寄来的相片。今番是因为五哥寄给我们及他的三个儿女们两张泗里街码头的相片，我才求明白谁是谁。因此而又联络上他们。）

Hi there Siew Ping gu gu!,

greetings from Down South , gugu! Proteus is Kiet here.
We are all good, very busy with our lives at the moment. How are you and your family, gugu? I'm finishing my Business Degree and May is working hard. I'm glad to receive your email, i think us families should communicate more, i thought back and felt that me, may and eddy haven't really talked that much with dad's side of family. But then again,even here in Australia, me and may didn't really talk that much with Mum's side too. I'm nearly finished with this book by Barack Obama " Dreams from my father", i realized that every man, person needs to go back to its roots, get to know where they are coming from. We had so much to learn yet so little time. I recommend this book, it's written in a form of personal spiritual journal, back when Barack is still so young. I saw Dad's pictures and heard Dad talk about his father and realized i should go back and visit the old hometown, the old family , grandfather's graveyard and such.

I'm impressed with Barack Obama because he thought through things, as with all black people, he has his grudges against white people. But he is also wise enough to understand where everyone is coming from and willing to forgive and understand, especially this father which never really around there for him. His obssession with an almost non-existant father is very curious and suprising, but how he thinks about his life is very enlightening in a fresh way.

I think i talk too much about myself now. Tell us about your family and everything. Hope to hear from you. I will tell May about this email.

Well, when I rec ur father 's letter to u all about ur mum's birthday and age, haha! Both John and I were very confused. We all thought that ur father was written wrongly about our mum.Then only he explained, then we understand.
Who is Proteus? Lee Kiet or Eddy?
Long time no see, how are u all?Miss u all.Write to me if u are free and tell me some of ur life there...........
Ya. Lee Mey, are u working now?U are the first lady doctor in our family. Very proud of u!
