E-mail fr Evelyn - 14/2/2008

Am so sorry to hear of Dr Yap's passing. They didn't manage to accompany him back to Sarikei? Is his family in Kuching with him? Since you said his brain was already dead, it'll be very difficult for him and his family if he continues to live. So, it's really better that he died peacefully. It could be his time on earth is due, God only knows. We can't predict our life and the best is to trust our lives in God's hand, right? Did the son from England came back again? What will happen to his Clinic in Sarikei? Is any of his son taking over his profession and continue to run the Clinic? Frankly speaking I didn't really know him or his family well. Just that because he's related to Jee Ee and you all, my MIL also got to know him through your MIL. So when we're there in Sarikei and my MIL came for visit, she was very sick once and Ah Poi took Dr Yap to our house to check on my MIL. I saw Dr Yap's wife 2 times only. Once she was at your hotel to buy food from Sok Beng and another time was when we went to the Clinic with Jee Ee. She's very close to Sok Beng.

Please comfort your MIL and hope she'll not be too sad over Dr Yap's death. We really can't help it. I hope time will heal the pain.

Got to cook dinner now. Catch up with you some other time. Take care of yourself.

Regards
Evelyn
