E-mail from Evelyn - 11/4/2003

Dear XX,
It's good to hear from you too. Yes, I'm "on line"every afternoon when Leong left for office. The weekdays mornings are spent with your mother-in-law and other aunties(who're around),doing marketing and having coffee either at Pai Ing's coffee shop or at your restaurant with your sis-in-law. Time flies when spent doing loitering around town.My afternoons are usually spent doing house chores, replying to e-mails from my sons, sisters and friends from all over . Don't forget that I've married sisters living in Perth, 2 in Darwin. Belgium/ Kuching and my niece in Brunei. I'm keeping in touch with my cousins in Kuching and Melbourne too. i'm very close to my family, cousins and friends.
Hey, don't envy me. I'm aalways what I'm. I used to tell your mother-in-law that you're a very nice person too. She agreed. Your siter-in-lw also speaks very well of you. She told me once that because of our different dialets, both of you and I can't communicate properly. Taht of cos, I can understand but you're doing alright with your Hokkian now. Keep it up!
What are you doing right now?Still writing articles for the newspapers? Does the Editor give you a specific subject to write on or you can choose your own subject to write and then send in your cintributions? You must be very good in writing?
Got to go now. Will write agai when I hear from you soon, I hope. All the very best to you in whatever you do, do well.

Regards,
Evelyn
