（先生从一个从事律师的朋友手中借来这一封信。是为了申请各自的儿子回家过清明、复活节和受难节。我像小学生一样把内容重抄一遍。“记得把儿子的名字放下去！我已经交代老三通知老幺。他要不要回家是他的决定。免得等下他的几个好友都有回家而他没有！”作老爸的吩咐我。哈哈！我当然不会一字不漏地抄啦！不过，日子是记少了一天！我曾经在一些副刊上看到本州的小学子们偷抄作文书里的内容。他们竟然能够在一天之内来回《波德申沙摊》！）

Re: Leave to return home for Ching Ming Festival and Good Friday and Easter

I am the father of Kueh XXX XXXX, a trainee at your NS Camp. I would like to apply leave from you to allow my son to return to Sarikei for Ching Ming(3rd to 5th April) and Good Friday and Easter (9th to 12th April). I would be most grateful to you if you could also consider releasing my son from the 6th to 8th day of April, 2009 in view of the distance between Sarikei and Bintulu.

I would be much appreciated if you could make arrangement for the transport for my son to and fro the Camp.

Your consideration and approval of the application will be much appreciated.
